Comments Thread For: Haye Wants Vitali, Wladimir-Povetkin as Deadline Nears

Only a few days before the IBF's deadline of May 17 to make a unification fight between champion Wladimir Klitschko and WBA champion David Haye of England. The IBF gave the fighters until May 17 to make a deal or else Klitschko has to fight mandatory Alexander Povetkin or face being stripped if he refuses. [Click Here To Read More]

How old does a Klitschko got to be to get Haye in the ring against one of them?

I actually used to defend Haye, it was fcking horrible and it began getting more difficult to keep backing him up, can't anymore, I mean I understand yeah he wants to take time off w/e, but at least genuinely and concretely announce your intentions. I thought Wladimir was the "less dangerous" fight since a good crack at Wlad's china and Haye has a chance.

David Haye won't fight him until Wlad is older and slower.

He only fights heavyweights in their late 30s (Barrett, Ruiz, and Valuev so far).

I doubt he'll fight Vitali until he slows down more. Vitali looked near his prime against Arreola but showed his age a bit against Johnson.
