    I believe that Atlas' "former fighter" experience consisted of 9 amateur fights, several of which he lost............

    As for his credibility, I think that Merchant has more, far more. I've found Atlas to be malicious, and he holds a grudge for a lifetime. Look at the way he always runs down Tyson. Even though he had almost nothing to do with Tyson, other than a few training days when Tyson was about 15, he is always regarded as a Tyson "expert".

    \And because he was fired by D'Amato for threatening Tyson with a gun, he has never had anything good to say about him, and I recall his visible glee whenever Tyson got into trouble. (He resented Tyson's paying attention to Teddy's niece)...........
