After losing to Zuri Lawrence, Jameel McCline had 2 world title fights

Jameel McCline lost a wide decision to Zuri Lawrence in 2005. On one of the cards, he lost all 10 rounds.

McCline was given a WBA shot against Valuev in 2007, which he lost, and then a fight for the WBC interim title against Sam Peter.

After losing both those fights, he was in a WBA eliminator vs. John Ruiz. He lost that one too, but then his next fight was a WBC eliminator!

People ***** about Sosnowski getting a title shot against Vitali, after the shot was turned down by Valuev and Solis. Why didn't they ***** about Jameel McCline?

Tunney making up fake agendas and beef again. No one on here even cares about Vitali-Sonoski.

I can't get mad at Vitali, or any other elite fighter, who takes an 'easy' fight after fighting top ranked opponents in their last four fights. This is a stay busy fight more than anything...

I don't have a problem with Vitali taking this fight, he has earned an easy showpeice fight.

He better look damn impressive though

McCline actually did good against Sam Peter and knocked Peter down a couple of times.

                  True.

So perhaps losing a decision to Zuri Lawrence, a clever skillful boxer, really doesn't mean so much.
