Comments Thread For: Calzaghe-Hopkins Rematch Pushed, Enzo Says Forget It

According to a report in Daily Mail, Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer is trying to make rematch between Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins. Calzaghe won the fight with a close split decision in 2008. The Welsh star retired in early 2009 and promised never to come back unless there was a serious payday on the table, but lately rumors of a comeback have been building, but some report the comeback may be a swerve to push the attention away from Calzaghe's recent scandal where he disclosed his use of *******. I'd watch it, but I sure as hell wouldn't shell out a dime if they did it on PPV.

          100% agreed.

Joe is retired, I hope he keeps it that way.

It wasn't PPV the first time they fought.

It sure as hell wouldn't be for a potential second fight.

unfortunately this is probably the most competitive fight that can be made for both without any them actually getting hurt

pandas not watching that **** though, hopkins should retire just like joe did

God I hope Calzaghe stays retired.

Hopkins is a cheating scum bag, why would Calzaghe want to face him again.

Neither of them have anything left to prove. Joe, stay retired and Bernard, retire.
