it doesnt matter what he believes but what he says is enough to get your panties in a bunch get you to hate him and get you to watch and listen to everything he says and does. and thats the point thats what he tryin to do and its working lol. you hate him dont say you dont care about him because you obv do by making a thread or commenting on him. you either love him or hate him. either way you put money in his pockets add to his viewing and make him more popular. so everything he says its not to big himself up or make himself feel good. he knows who he is and what he is doing. what he says is to bother his opponent and sell tickets.

Floyd IS better than all those guys . Now seriously he is certainly comparable to all those guys unlike the Manny Pacquiao's of this world.

Floyd Mayweather = SRR

I think its a combination of both things. I think Floyd says it mostly to get a rise out of people. At the same time I think he believes as a pro you shouldn't consider any fighter to be greater than you just because they came before you or fought in a different era. Floyd is not saying Ali and SRR are garbage fighters, he is saying he refuses to say someone is better than him in a sport he has given his life to. I don't think Floyd is better than those guys and I'm sure deep down he is unsure on how he would measure up to their greatness but what he says is more about his mental focus than putting down anyone.
