This fight between Floyd and Shane is gonna be a barnburner and a WW classic in my opinion. While Floyd's been able to pot shot n move in a lot of fights n avoid getting into a fight or exchanges, this fight will not be the same. Shane has more speed than anyone Floyd's fought since Zab, with the difference being that Zab didn't hit as hard n couldn't maintain an attack for more than 4 rounds. No one he fought had the chin of Shane either nor the durability. Shane's defense is bad but unlike Manny he doesn't take shots that clean n snap his head back. Think of it like Martinez vs Paul n Martinez vs Pavlik. While Pavlik had bad defense he didnt walk face first into them either. People are also banking on Shane not having a jab lol well your gonna be in for a suprise come May 1st. The thing is I dont see Shane beating Floyd but I know for a fact Shane will make Floyd fight. Even Floyd knows it and thats why he's working on putting punches together n starting earlier. You gotta put something on a guy like Shane to stop him from rolling over you. Floyd's gonna pick his shots n punch in between Shane's shots n fight in the pocket early. I noticed in 24/7 Shane's developed the Ray Robinson classic right hook to the body- the one he always throws when a guy bends down against him ala Floyd during the shoulder roll. Early on your gonna see Shane ****ing to Floyds body n most missing his hooks but you'll see a lot of straight jabs get through n bother Floyd. Floyd will look good early on but Floyd's gonna be forced to fight n thats bad news for Shane, cu for the first time your gonna see him tire slightly n in the late rounds, once he's already put Floyd in a fight mentality, in a dog eat dog kind of fight, he's not gonna think about pot shotting in the late rounds when Shane's tired, he's gonna think about putting shots together right down the middle n taxing Shane's ass. I'm telling you your gonna see Floyd hit n forced to fight more than you've ever seen early on, then your gonna see Floyd step it up n fight back like you've never seen, Shane will certainly try to step it up again to take control but after a round or 2 of that he's gonna blow his load n you're gonna watch a surgeron at work doing what he does. It's gonna be a classic n I can't predict the future but I'm just letting you guys know, DO NOT be ****** enough to bet on a KO for this fight...at least not with real money lol. Shane ate about 30 clean punches to the body n head from Cotto n was the stronger fighter at the end n didn't have a scratch on him. He's fought much bigger harder punchers in Vargas, Mayorga, Margarito, Oscar, Vernon, Winky the list goes on n he was only stunned one time. Shots you don't see n come with precision do more damage granted n I actually think Floyd will sting Mosley a couple times but never stop him...ever. As far as Shane goes, he's like Nard, he's knockout proof. He's gotta good chin, tough body, good stamina, he's defense is phenominal n HE SEES SHOTS COMING. Even if he gets hurt at the worst he'll go into survival mode n recover or finish the fight n lose a UD...he'll never let himself be knocked out, I've seen journey men survive against world class guys when they didn't wana get knocked out, think what Floyd the best defensive fighter since Sweat Pea can do?
