Nope...at Juanma's age Fraud Duckweather had already fought/was going to fight the Hernandez's(WBC SFW Champ), Chavez's(Top 10 SFW) Corrales'(Top 5 P4P and top 5 SFW), and Castillo's(#1 LW also gave him a rematch) of boxing and he wasn't going through 12 round wars with guys with 12 losses or fighting the Penalosas and Oliver Lontchi's of boxing. LOL.

aren't the best supposed to fight the best in boxing? if you are satisfied with him fighting the 2nd tier just like mayweather has been doing then i guess things will never change and why would they? it's an easy scam.

Who are in Top Rank(except Williams) and did not bring $15-20 guaranteed plus PPV numbers like Hatton/DLH. Even the Mosley fight is guaranteeing Floyd $15Mill.

And it's funny how those were prime just last year now they're past prime after just 2 fights. What kind of prime did they have? LOL.

Yeah, Floyd started out very strong fighting good competition constant and often.

Lopez is starting out soft and not living up to what he set himself up for. He was already built up slowly, behind the scenes, he doesn't need to be babied anymore. He fought on the international amateur level even before that.

Caballero embarrassed him. If Rafael Marquez is still himself, I'll take him in the upset if they fight. That fight would move him into a top 100 ATG spot.

Well, I'm not against the Juanma-Gamboa match taking place next year....
But, of course I want to see the best face the best...But he's doing what he can right now...you know Arum isn't about to make anything jump in the line of him meeting Gamboa next year...

No, it's funny how Bob Arum tried to make those fights after Floyd left Top Rank and during the court case he had with Floyd. Knowing Floyd was out for more money and wouldn't want to fight any Top Rank fighter, Arum used that to build up Margarito as an avoided fighter(Oh look Floyd said no..Margarito is so scary) fans bought the hype. Margarito loses to Williams, possibly cheated against Cotto(idc if he did or didn't), gets ktfo against Mosley...Now Floyd will fight Mosley.

Floyd would have made an astonishing amount fighting any of those names. Cotto/Floyd after Cotto beat Mosely/Gomez would have been one of the biggest fights of the decade.

Sad they never called each other out.

JuanMa is still young and is not to the point where he is calling the shots yet. His manager and promoter pick the opponents. Later when he's a star and choses opponents perhaps a comparison to Mayweather can be made.
