What do you think about Jeff Lacy? Was he ever a good fighter or crap in your opinion

He was not great, but good and young at that, thus having potential to possibly get better. Had he gotten past Calzaghe at the time, the SMW division was wide open for the taking, and he could have built himself into a huge star. Joe was having no part of that though.

And Jeff Lacy did look like a killer before he got his ass whooped by Calzaghe, I think the beating he took ruined him as a fighter mentally and physically.

I can proudly say that, as many bad picks as I have made in my life, picking Lacy to beat Calzaghe wasn't one of them. Was never that good in my eyes.

Good fighter, average champion. In most eras would have been a good contender but not a champion.
