Comments Thread For: Dimitrenko Eyes Sprott vs Harrison Winner, Klitschko

Heavyweight prospect Alexander Dimitrenko has decided on the date of his next fight but not on the opponent. Dimitrenko says that he’ll have a tune-up fight on May 22. It will be the first bout for the Ukrainian since his loss to Eddie Chambers last July. After that Dimitrenko plans to challenge the winner of Audley Harrison-Michael Sprott fight for the European title.

Sasha is no more ready for Vitali than Sosnowski. Rather than hanker for a title shot against the VitMan (who would utterly destroy him right now), maybe he should look at avenging that loss against Chambers somewhere down the line...

He can't. Chambers should have stopped him in the first fight, had the ref not been a complete incompetent, and he dominated him anyway... I believe that going after Sprott-Harrisson winner to get the EU title is the best move he can possibly make right now.

Dimitrenko isn't anywhere near active enough for a guy i still consider a prospect. He needs to pull his finger out and get himself a new trainer, plus a new promoter that will get him fights ASAP.
