So if he was to go up to 147. Would he still hit as hard? Or would the extra weight affect him? Can he carry his power.

Go back and read Jros post he made my point for me.
jro , didn't make a point for you. you misunderstood him.

    jesus......

can roman gonzalez' frame carry 147 lbs?

there's a big difference between floyd a natural 135 or 140 guy moving up to 147.

to a 105 guy moving up to 147.

floyd has the frame to carry 147. his body looks fine at 147.

at 147 roman gonzalez will look like cris arreola.

"Im not sure Valero will carry his power to 140".

Now your singing a different song.

So added weight cant affect fighters negatively what so ever? Roman Gonzalez at 147 will hit as hard as he does now?
NO, I don't think you understanding. Valero at 140 or 147 will still have the power to KO 130 and 135 fighters Because he will not stop hitting any lesser. However, I don't know if he would carry his power to KO 140 and 147 fighters.

I think everybody is in aggreement that if Roman Gonzalez weighs 147 he will not KO other 147 pounders.

However, if he weighs 147 did he lose power and is not able to KO 105 pounders? Is this what you telling me Burner?

The answer is obvious. What sparked this thread was JMM-Floyd at 130. Can Floyd knock him out? Or will it be a long, drag it out decision with Floyd not engaging and playing it safe.

Or will he fight like how he did AT 130.

Yes. You guys are acting like added weight doesnt affect you. Its a reason people said Guzman doesnt hit as hard anymore. He keeps adding an insane amount of weight.

Being big and strong doesnt mean its a fact you will hit hard. Look at Valuev hes over 300 pounds and hits like a girl.

Why is the answer obvious? Maybe because the power really doesn't go away but just the bigger guys can take the power better right?

This has nothing to do with JMM-Floyd at 130 and Floyd knocking him out.
