Comments Thread For: Froch vs Kessler: Mikkel Back in Berlin For Training

BERLIN - Mikkel Kessler is back in Berlin to continue his preparation for his April 24 Super Six World Boxing Classic clash with WBC Super-Middleweight Champion Carl Froch. “I enjoy working out at the Max-Schmeling-Gym,” he said. “I have been in Berlin several times now and I really like the place. The facilities are great and we can concentrate 100 percent on training. I am getting better and better each day.” [Click Here To Read More]

Kessler will lose this fight to Froch as well. Andre Ward, who is overrated himself, showed that Kessler is just an average Boxer that cannot adapt in the ring and whose only claim to fame is losing to Calzaghe. Much like Kelly Pavlik, Kessler is a basic fighter that can be exploited with rough tactics and movement. Now Froch is not much of a runner but Carl will rough up Kessler enough to throw him off his game and land Big Shots. Unless Kessler takes some of that Chit the Mayweathers are accusing PacMan of taking, i dont see him being able to beat anyone other than Dirrell in the SUper Six...Froch by Decision

Somebody has to prove me right and beat this bumb. I think kessler can be the guy. I like Froch and think he is a tough guy but his skill is C level, he has no speed, and I don't think he throws crisp punches. Taylor should have walked over him easy had his stamina been a bit better and if he fought smarter. I didn't think Froch was going get a win in this tournament so he has already surprised me.

          This is to voneric...

ANDRE WARD is far from over-rated SON. Support your claim please? He is going to win the supersix. He is the best fighter in the tournament, PERIOD! What he did to KESSLER was not a FLUKE buddy. You don't beat a fighter like KESSLER if your not the truth. Give WARD credit and respect for taking his craft seriously. Your just being a HATER by claiming he's over-rated. You couldn't BEAT HIM!

Froch is gonna knock Kessie out.I think Kessie might be past it the last fight there was no hunger there.Ward is a good fighter but I think he made him look better then he really is with lack of hunger.I think he is going to get lured in a gun fight with Froch and that's when he get's stoped.

Lets make one thing very Clear, im not your ***ing Son. Considering i only mentioned Ward one time in a post about FrochVKessler, it seems you have a deep admiration for Andre Ward that goes beyond being a Fan. Theres nothing wrong with that and i admire your Courage for Speaking out on your Love for the Young Man. However, I only used Wards name in my posting because of how Andre was able to Beat Kessler with Ease, and that was me Supporting my Claim about Kessler being Overrated. But if you want me to Talk about Ward and branch off on a new Topic that has nothing to do with this Article, i will do so out of Boredom. I will say that AndreWards Time as the Best in SuperSix will be as shortlived as Kesslers Reign. When everyone considered Kessler the Favorite in the Tourney and Called him the Best, i was yelling at the Wind that he would be easily handled by Ward (Guess i wasnt a Hater then) due to the Fact Kesslers only Impressive Victory was against Andrade. And now Im stating the Same about Ward, whose only impressive Victory was against Kessler...Beating Miranda is not Impressive. And it is true that Ward can Beat me in a Boxing match, but i dont know how that fits into this conversation... just surprised you did want me to Fight your Daddy too. I Should be sorry for not sharing the same kind of Admiration and Love for Andre Ward that you feel, but luckily, i Dont Give A ***..Son

The travesty is that he does have skill, bucket loads of it. However he has become so arrogant and full of himself that he doesn't bother to apply the boxing basics any more - as evidenced by his performance against Dirrell. No basic combinations, no jabs, no ability to cut off the ring, just move forward chin first and throw haymakers.
