Actually the fact that he avoided the question about Khan says a lot. it makes me think Maidana knows he will never get to fight him.

John youre always so critical of Amir. And you make sense 9 out of 10 times but can you plz talk about the Khan Maidana deal after May 15th. Amir said he wanted to fight a well known name for his US debut. Lets believe him for that. We should talk about the deal if he doesnt fight Maidana after May 15th.

wazza, OK but I find it very significant that Alexander is looking at Maidana as an opponent. He does not seem to think he is too small a name to fight. I am pretty certain there will be no Maidana fight straight after Khan gets past Paulie.

Khan is more dangerous to Alexander than Maidana is. The only way Maidana can beat Alexander is by KO, and even that is a long shot because Alexander has a good chin. However, Khan has the potential to outbox Alexander, and maybe even TKO him using his speed, combos, and power.

Maybe Alexander should be calling out for a fight against Khan?
