Comments Thread For: Korobov vs Snyder is Set For Pavlik-Martinez Undercard

Middleweight prospect Matt Korobov (10-0, 8KOs) will take on experienced Joshua Snyder (8-4, 3KOs) on the Kelly Pavlik-Sergio Martinez undercard on April 17 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. It will be Korobov's first eight round fight. Snyder had upset previously undefeated Aaron Pryor Jr. in 2008 but then lost a decision to Walid Smichet a year ago in Canada. . I thought Korobov would be fighting better opponents by now, maybe Top Rank found some flaws in his game that they want him to work on before stepping him up.

i think that'll always be a problem for korobov. i like him as a prospect. very accurate puncher and never wastes anything, but like jacobs, the more i see of him the less i am impressed. if he stays with that methodical approach i can see someone box circles around him in the future without him getting off.

Not so bad, I can live with this on the undercard. Middleweight division needs some thunder.

I'm confused, how can he be "experienced" Joshua Snyder with a record of 8-4 3KOs?? He's only had 2 more fights than Korobov.
