Whatever guys...Bottom line, Clottey payed a disservice to the sport of boxing.

I had my son's baptism today, and we watched the DVR'd fight a few hours ago. My whole family, which NEVER gets together for a fight was in front of the big screen, anticipating a good fight. Pacquiao did his thing, while Clottey fought like a prick. My Dad fell asleep. (Mind you, he's the one who got ME into the game!). I don't get it. You're whole boxing life on the line, and you fight like a turtle. 50,000 people, Cowboys Stadium, a chance to make a statement....Clottey, YOU SUCK!!!:davil2

I first agreed with you TS but Clottey did what he could against a top 2 P4P.

To be fair with Clottey, he always fought like that. Clottey didn't use his stiff jab at all. His trainer wasn't good at all, even during the fight. People put the blame on Clottey but remember me what good advice he gave him. " Fight him, let your hands go" is not good advice to me, it's cheerleading. A good advice is " Use your stiff jab and commit to the straight right hand when you get him."

Clottey basically fought with a conditionning trainer, just like Cotto. Do you imagine Billy Blanks training you for a fight? Well that's what happened with both Pacquiao's last opponents.
