We'll never know because Floyd avoided him like he owed Tony money...

I personally think that Margarito would have been too big and strong for Floyd. I could see Mayweather being very negative in this fight, backing up, holding, spoiling and Tony generally roughing him up when they got close.

Marg is so slow and so easy to hit. Cotto looke like Manny Pacquiao at times vs. Marg. He just to easy to hit. Floyd wouldnt miss him.

That was a prime, undefeated Cotto.

He was amazing that night. Margarito fought a version of Cotto that was walking through opponents like a hot knife through butter.

The same Cotto that mayweather ALSO never fought.

What would have been the outcome of Mayweather vs Margarito??!
