Ward would have the best chance, since i think he's technically the more gifted boxer. Calzaghe does have an advantage in size, and he's quick to adapt to any situation. it's not too late for Calzaghe to challenge the winner of the super six, but for anyone who thinks Calzaghe (a prime Joe at that) would be easy for anyone is smoking dumb bud. i'd say Abraham would have a good shot at hurting Calzaghe, but he may be too inactive to win a decision. Froch would be outhussled, Dirrell would give the early rounds away, but would be very competitive. Calzaghe's speed, workrate, ability to adapt, and ring generalship would be tough test for any of these guys.

Carl Froch is the only guy who can beat Calzaghe. Calzaghe wins his fights because of his work rate and his high pain threshold. Froch is the same type of guy but punches with proper form. Proper form = more damage caused.

      Carl Froch would beat Calzaghe.
god i feel bad for you.

      if you are serious...

There are plenty who have fought at 68 that would beat joe.

A 90's RJJ at 168 gets it done easily as does James Toney at 168. A younger Hopkins who could throw more would beat him aswell.

Who has Joe actually beaten at 168??? An overrated Kessler and an old Eubank.

At 175 = a 44 year old Hopkins who can't hang with the volume and speed because he is too old.

And a completely shot RJJ.....seriously Danny "The Robot" Green KO'd him in 122 seconds. all you need to know is this......how many of his last 8 or so fights has Roy won and who did he beat????.....and of the ones he lost how many ended in brutal KO's???

Joe Calzaghe is a ver good boxer. He moves well aand is awkward but he is highly overrated!!!!! People seeem to think he is the best the 168 division has seen.

LOL at everyone picking Andre Ward. That's your typical fat yank great black hope pick.

Calzaghe beats em all with ease.

No he's not. But the current crop have yet to prove that they are better. I voted AA, AD and AW could beat Cal, but would they? I'm not entirely sold...yet.

Lucian Bute is still relatively untested as well...

Bump this thread when the Super Six has a winner.

Only one in my mind would be obviously everyone in here will say ward, but personally I don't see it, but he could certainly do it. I am just saying I don't know his potential yet... I could see Andre Dirrell and his tricky run and hide strategy working and frustrating calzaghe, but honestly I don't think he has the work rate to **** with Joe... Joe's work rate and slapping alone would do work on all these guys in my mind. I don't know why this is an argument or debate in the first place, but better thread than most I suppose.

                      Calzaghe dominates all of them.
