after seeing him get beat around the ring against ouma, angulo and quintana would beat him...and yes i do think he deserves a shot at a title,he's been ranked and waited for a while, there are fighters who get a shot immediatly, look at vazquez jr,guty espadas is getting a shot.

Well you figure his team have probably stressed the importance of defense and punch output during recent training. If he fights a smart fight he could definitely have a shot against Angulo. That means not constantly looking for the knockout 1-2 combination he kept trying against Ouma.

He needs to use his jab more and focus on head movement. His only defense is his feet.

He probably would've knocked out Ouma if the fight went 12 rounds and he never really showed signs of getting tired. The one worrying point about the fight is that he did not deal well with adversity, ie the repeated headbutts and the cut caused by them.

Contrary to what people think after that fight, the future is still quite bright for him. He would be quite competitive in against Angulo or Quintana at this stage.

Angulo and Williams destroys Vanes. Quintana boxes his shoes off and stops him.

Ouma straight up beat him, no doubt about it. I could have seen it being close if it wasnt for the knock down, but that sealed it. After that performance, Vanes is going to be a big underdog against any good fighter. Angulo and Williams KO him in no less then 6 rounds.
