After a superb performance, Dawid Kostecki (33-1, 23 KO) defeated Dario Cichello (18-7-2, 5 KO) in a fight for vacant IBC light heavyweight title which took place in Rzeszów, Poland. Kostecki finished his Italian rival in the seventh round when he floored Cichello with a powerful right hook. I cant stand this Dawid Kostecki, reason, he's very disrespectful to his oponents. I dont have a problem with any boxer who wants to slag of his oponent, it happens often and is seen as part of the game. But this Kostecki bum fights nothing but club fighters, real no hopers, and shows no respect to them in the ring, sticking his tounge out at his over-matched oponents, screaming at his overmatched oponent to fight back when they clearly have no chance, following this taunt up by steaming into his oponent. If thats not enough, after the final bell has rung i have seen him behave very disrespectfully to his well beaten oponent who never had a chance in the first place. This guy really has no class and the sooner he fights anyone with a half decent record he will be beaten, i gaurantee it. I have no idea why he has been built up as a big star in Poland, regularlyu fighting live on national television. He would not even make it on the American club seen, i'd gauruntee that!
The guy who wrote this report is obviously Polish going by his name, but i suspect there is more behind the reasoning for his glowing report than just being of the same nationality. The truth is, Kostecki fought and beat a total bum, and did not even look good doing it. Although Kostecki was the better fighter, this Cichello was a real bum of the month club fighter and seemed able to cause Kostecki problems. He's going nowhere, the sooner he gets beaten and is taken of our tv screens the better the sport will be! Harsh but true!
