    Comments Thread For: Robert Guerrero Withdraws From Michael Katsidis Fight

    BoxingScene.com was informed earlier today that IBF super featherweight champion Robert Guerrero has withdrawn from his planned fight with lightweight Michael Katsidis, which was scheduled headline HBO's March 27 telecast. BoxingScene has confirmed the information with Guerrero's manager, Shelly Finkel. From what I was told, Guerrero withdrew for personal reasons that have to do with his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Guerrero family.

          Guess this leaves space for Diaz to step into the match and fight Katsidis, just as Katsidis wanted. Would be a legit replacement.

                                  No they said, Brandon Rios. A Top Rank prospect, kid is a beast. **** would be a war.

                                  I wouldn't mind seeing a Diaz fight. Juan has been slipping and Katsidis has since turned into an inside fighting machine. It would be the war that was supposed to happen the first time around.

                                  Hope everything's good with Guerrero and his family.
