Ernie ‘Gypsy Boy’ Smith’s death last Friday saw British boxing lose one of its most valued journeymen. Smith has tested the likes of Jamie Cox, Gavin Rees, John O’Donnell, Kell Brook, and Nathan Cleverly in a 161-fight career, 13-142-5 (1).
