it would be amazing to see 2 huge hulking heavyweights share the same ring. But agree, klitskcho too skilled for valuev.

1 million is more than satisfactory. How can valuev reject a offer for a shot at the title when he just lost his last fight?

Valuev rejected one million? Haha I would be like OK and walk away and find someone else. Who's Valuev think he is.

Haye? the guy who is fighting John Ruiz next and there-for is not a available option?

    A) Vitali is not scared of Haye. Haye did not sign the contract for the October fight, which Vitali already had signed, stamped, and posted to Haye.

    B) Who else shall Vitali fight in March/April? Look at the TOP 10 (boxrec, for what it's worth):

#1 Wladimir - the brother will not fight
    #2 Vitali himself
#3 Haye - is occupied with Ruiz in April, and will not fight again before Sep.
#4 Chagaev - was demolished by Wlad, and I did not hear anything about further activity at all
#5 Adamek - has not enough experience in HW, and should avoid the far larger Klitschkos for now; is scheduled for FEB vs. Estrada
#6 Povetkin - is mandatory of Wlad, and could lose this status if he does not fight him this year, so Povetkin will not fight the other Klitschko before that
#7 Eddie Chambers - will face Wlad in March
#8 Valuev - was a belt holder and was never knocked down, and is the only fighter actually larger than Vitali
#9 Thompson - was defeated by Wlad in 2008
#10 Ruiz - is scheduled to fight Haye in April

So, of the first 10, only Valuev or Thompson could be scheduled to fight him within the next few months. And Valuev would get FAR more money in Germany, since he's a bigger name over here.

Just make the fight happen, even if Valuev gets 2-3 millions for it.

C'mon guys, you are missing the point here. This fight is all about clearing the path to Haye and the WBA belt and nothing else.

Sauerland has locked Haye down for the next 3 fights and after Ruiz, Haye will have to rematch Valuev, no matter what he wants, probably for an even purse too. That is the price Haye had to pay to get a chance at Valuev's belt.

So, a rematch between Haye and Valuev, that's gotta be worth a pretty good purse right? Say, at least a million? the british will be watching for sure.

Anyway, Sauerland and Valuev have all the cards on this one. Everybody knows Vitali is after that WBA belt and he will have to pay considerably more than Valuev would make in the rematch with Haye to get Sauerland and Valuev out of the way, for his unification bout with Haye to happen. Vitali will have to pay 2 or 3 times more than his first offer to get this fight donne.

On Valuev, IMO, I'm pretty sure he has generated good paydays for his last few fights, probably something around a million, considerably more against Haye, but I doubt he is seeing the biggest part of that money. Sauerland and DKP must have him tied to a ****ty contract and he ends up picking up the smaller part of the money.

It's true but I find this so funny for some reason.
