Comments Thread For: Zsolt Erdei Vacates Title?; Juergen Braehmer May Appeal

Hungarian Zsolt Erdei hasaccording to websites in Hungary and Poland relinquished the WBC cruiserweight title. Erdei, the former WBO light heavyweight champ, gave up that title to go for the WBC cruiser crown then held by Giacobbe Fragomeni but weighed in just a little over the limit to light heavy and is too small to have a future at 200 lbs. There are no official confirmation from Universum yet. Mandatory challenger for Erdei is Pole Krzysztof Wlodarczyk. [Click Here To Read More]

Does anyone see the humor in this?

Erdei sits on the lineal title at 175 for years, then moves up and wins at cruiser and vacates right after.

      Hahaha

So this guy who's only claim to fame was a lineal title (that most didn't respect), gives it up by vacating after holding it for years, now he vacates his CW title, so what's he left with?

Fighting more bums in Germany. The same Erdei we've seen for years, except now we don't have to cringe when we say his name because at least he's irrelevant now.

Kudos to Erdei for ridding us of talking about him.
