Former Finnish heavyweight champ Tony Halme, age 47, was found dead this weekend. The reason for his death appears to be suicide. Halme compiled a 13-6 pro record from 1995 through 2002. Ludwig Borga was one of my favourite wrestlers.May his soul rest in peace.I never got the chance to see him as a fighter but as a wrestler it was always great watching his fightsComment

Halme was not much of a boxer but he did keep the sport "alive" in this country when there were few boxers around who could. He was an entertainer and a character who was always controversial. I imagine the heavy alcohol/drug abuse during his later years finally got to him.
