This is the best of this decade. Lewis did most of his damage in the late 90's, same as Roy.

Calzaghe is a obviously top ten based on what's revealed so far and was one of those seven names. He was in roughly the same spot (to be revealed) on all of them, as well as in the choices of Tom Hauser in another outlet (http://www.hbo.com/boxing/features/f...er_decade.html). I don't really have to explain anything; there's just a school of thought you disagree with.
Let's just see if what I said holds true. I'm sure it will.

I have a feeling Joe Calzaghe could walk on water, bring world peace, feed the poor and erase Limp Bizkit from history and you'd still find some way to minimize said accomplishments.

There are people who dislike certain fighters and find every which way to lessen every little bit of their ledgers. Nothing is ever good enough. Something could always be better. Revisionist historians.

I think Cliff took on all of these concerns fairly and fully in this article:

Agree DG. I just laugh at this point.

winky and hatton are already ranked way too high on the list. winkys best wins over mosley and tito are both over smaller fighters who he could dominate with the jab, when he was in against better fighters he found it hard to pull something extra out. his losses to vargas, hopkins, JT and his drubbing at the hands of williams should mean hes somewhere in the 20's imo.

as for hatton his losses have come to the elite so maybe i am being too harsh on him but imo he is not as good a fighter as his resume suggests and toney, lewis, tszyu and a few others should be ahead of him.
IMO, we are talking about resume/accomplishment here more than skill. I'm a very huge KT fan but this decade it is right that hatton is above him.
