Actually, Johnson is wrong about not owing Casa the money if Casa wasnt paid in full. When a guy misses weight, essentially the contract is breached at that point. If the promoter does not re-negotiate right then and there and sign a new contract, but instead lets the fight go forward anyways, then he is bound to the terms of the original contract.Ron Johnson, president and chief fighter of American Dream Promotions contacted BoxingScene.com to say that he is willing to pay "Bad" Chad Dawson up to $3 million dollars to secure a fight with the WBC-interm and IBO light heavyweight champion. My guess is that Johnson didnt say anything because he didnt want Casa to pull out if he didnt like the new offer, so he just let the fight go without saying anything, figuring he could negotiate it afterwards. If he didnt negotiate a new contract before the fight, then he's stuck with the old one. -
Badly written story and not very credible. Does Johnson want to fight Dawson himself?Ron Johnson, president and chief fighter of American Dream Promotions contacted BoxingScene.com to say that he is willing to pay "Bad" Chad Dawson up to $3 million dollars to secure a fight with the WBC-interm and IBO light heavyweight champion. He has investors who will put up 3 million, but he doesn't want to pay Casamayor 10.000?
Johnson is 11-1, for christs sake. He lost to Darnell Boone. Tell me again that HBO will buy into that....Comment

ron johnson is the fighter who wants dawson , i havent heard of him and had to boxrec him , he's 11-1 and looks extremely undeserving of any kind of title shot given his competition , not an appealing fight at allComment
