Comments Thread For: David Haye's Manager: "There is No Klitschko Deal"

Adam Booth, manager and trainer of WBA heavyweight champion David Haye, says there is no agreement in place to fight WBC champion Vitali Klitschko. During some a recent interview with a Russian media outlet, Klitschko claimed to have reached an agreement to fight Haye in 2010. Not only is there no agreement, Booth claims there have been no discussions for such a fight. [Click Here To Read More]

So why is Vitali claiming to have a preliminary deal in place to fight Haye if the Haye camp has had no contact with the Klitschko's yet?

Why is Haye fighting in May and not sooner? A nearly 40 year old Vitali is embarrassing him with his schedule.

Have you ever torn a rotator cuff? I have. It is sickeningly painful.

Most fighters fight every 6 months. Plus Haye broke his hand so it needs time to heal obviously.

I think he's fighting Ruiz in March.

Every 6 months is not good enough, especially when you are trying to establish your dominance over the division.

I forgot about the broken hand, but Haye is the same guy who insisted on fighting in June instead of Spring of this year and in the end fought a year later from his last fight.
