Are Floyd and Manny at the prime of their careers?

I, like everyone else is hoping that this will be a battle for the ages. Two guys who are the top of their sport, but are they at the top of their games? When were they at their bests? If not, when was their prime?

No steroid, gay, or any other hating posts please.

That's what I'm counting on. Pac has proven to be a true WW with WW speed and Power, and Floyd has had enough time for his hands to heal and he's got his tune up fight out of the way.

I'd say Pac is close to prime.. Though we will see if the Cotto fight took anything out of him

Defensively I'd say Floyd is in his prime... His defense has been risen to an art form, with the JMM fight as evidence. Offensively though? Prime Floyd was a long time ago offensively. Hope he finds that prime offense in the tank somewhere, would make for a better fight.

Most say Mayweather was at his best at 130, I'd say 140. He was clearly better on the inside at 140, used his elbows/ forearms alot more. You can clearly see Mayweather doesn't have this kind of overall speed anymore.

                    Good point.

140 Mayweather, as briefly as he spent there, was a perfect blend of offense and defense.

Whereas his defense wasn't QUITE as a good below 140, leaning alot more towards offense...

and above 140, went way towards defense
