He's the champ or at least was at the time. He should not be robbed for millions for something like this, he fought and bleed for that money. That would not be right.

So because he was a champion that gives him immunity from committing crimes? If he did it he should be held accountable. He doesn't seem like that type of person, and I hope its not true, but if it is, he shouldn't be held to a higher standard.

Yeah things like this should be overlooked because of who he is and what he has contributed to the sport and to society. It's not like he has commited high treason or tried to shoot the president. Once a champ, always a champ, people should support him.

Cotto is a public figure, he knows that's the price public figures pay, he should've been more careful. He has a beautiful family, if he wanted to fool around he should've been smarter than that. He's ***ed now, that Chacon chic and Evangelista are gonna get a lot of money from Cotto.

Federal Judge Jaime Pieras has before his attention to a sexual harassment lawsuit against three-time boxing champion Miguel Cotto Vazquez, brought by a former employee who claims she was harassed him by the boxer and several members of his family.

The plaintiff Martha L. Chacon Acevedo, a Venezuelan national and resident of Caguas, admits that in fear of losing her job to bring up her three children and her home, agreed to Cotto approaches for two months, "when he could not with level situation morally and spiritually. "

Chacon Acevedo was hired by Cotto on 20 December 2007 to manage the complex Turabo Villas, which Cotto owns.
The lawsuit includes Cotto's wife, Melissa Guzman's father, Miguel Cotto Carrasquillo, to his brother, Jose Cotto, and a cousin, Carlos Cotto. Was filed on October 27, 2009 by Hector Eduardo Pedrosa lawyers and Luis E. Miñana, and it states that on 20 December 2007, Chacon was hired as administrator for Cotto corporation, earning $ 1,300 a month, plus the use and enjoyment of an apartment at Villas del Turabo, which payment amounted to $ 700 monthly. Their direct supervisors were Cotto and his father (LOL).

"While serving her responsibilities as administrator, the defendant's Cotto Vazquez sexually harassed, making unwanted sexual advances and physical approaches were not welcome," stressed in the appeal.

"In addition, Cotto Vazquez offered her money to the applicant and other benefits in exchange for sex with him," he noted.

The boxer is added, he made sexually explicit comments and repeatedly rubbed his body against Chacon's, she rejected his advances and complained about his behavior.

Cotto used to peep thru her window and call her asking her to look at him wearing very little underwear or nothing at all.

Chacon said when she mentioned to Cotto's dad was Cotto was doing he told her "You need a man to look after you. I'll take care of you. "

Cotto's dad instructed "to do everything his son (Miguel Cotto) asked for.

Cotto Carrasquillo took no affirmative action to stop sexual harassment, and from inappropriate and unwanted conduct.

In February 2008, while Cotto was in Miami, Florida, he called and asked Chacon her measurements, because he was in a Victoria's Secret store and wanted to buy some sexy lingerie with the intention to have her model them.

Chacon strongly rejected the proposition and refused to give personal information Cotto.

Despite their objections, Cotto bought underwear and tried to deliver it with creams and lotions, and insisted that it be modeled.

When the complainant told him that his proposals were indecent, illegal and denoting a lack of respect for her, Cotto reportedly laughed and said "he was Miguel Cotto, the champion and he could do anything he wanted."

Cotto constantly asked her not to treat him as a boss, but as a lover.

As owner of the apartment in which she lived Chacon alleged that Cotto had a key that accessed the same whenever he wanted.

"Cotto often came around and gave her champagne and other gifts such as CDs and recordings of the series Sex and the City", she says.

On another occasion, it is alleged that Cotto instructed Chacon to go to one of his properties at Palmas del Mar hotel to oversee a remodeling. Chacon, who was with her children, claims that she was insulted and kicked out by Cotto's wife, who insulted her.

On 31 October 2008, Carrasquillo Cotto's office called to inform him that he had no alternative but to fire her, since her son's wife was jealous and she was the real boss.

Funny, but I think you would have a different outlook if it was your sister. Would you?

Yes, of course but in cases of law and justice you i'll have to try and look at things objectively and not out of a personal viewpoint.

So if he did do it this is still somebody's sister or daughter. Why the double standard?
