At Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (27-1, 20KOs) won a very tough twelve round unanimous decision over interim-champion Ola Afolabi (14-2-3, 6KOs) to retain the title. The scores were 115-113, 115-113 and 116-112 for Huck. [Click Here To Read More]

The scores should have been wider. I had it 117-112, being as generous to Afolabi as possible.

Some people online gave all 12 rounds to Huck.

I had it a close affair with Huck winning 115-113...Afolabi blew the fight with his inactivity and his defy to pursue Huck when he had him stunned was beyond believe - this guy ain't got the guts nor the will to be a champion...though, Huck clearly needs to improve his use of the jab, uppercuts and sidestepping).

That won't stop Afolabi from coming home and claiming he was robbed.

Between reading this result and Salita getting starched in one, this couldn't be a better boxing weekend for me.

jes so true, hav u also watched the fight on ard live, homey.
Seine doppeldekcung erinnert mich an abraham seine, aber abraham denk ich is eine ganz andere stufe.

Mr.Sauerland said marco is fightin again in March or April, but someone uncomfortable,a voluntary fight.(pfff)

that does mean a ****in no-name that marco can win cleary, but also collect experience for a big fight in sommer, i think.

close fight, i had marco winning at the end.

I hope that Arslan can win his fight on Jan.9 (hope it's still on). SE should then pursue him for a March/April fight with Huck. After this (IMO very winable) "experience" Huck should fight Flores in Summer 2010. If he progressed (like I said earlier in this thread) and beats Flores convincingly, I would like to see a rematch between Huck and Cunningham...

Arlsan is the perfect opponent for Huck and Flores would prepare him for Cunningham...and btw, Huck might never fight in the US b/c the money being in Germany and not in the States for Cruiserweights...(nice rhyme )
