good god, Ive heard this so many times but it isnt true. Ill agree that people make too much of the knockdown, but it WAS a legitimate knockdown.

its common knowledge that as a righty youre supposed to position your left foot behind your southpaw opponents right foot so as to trip him up and not allow him to pull back. In fact, thats EXACTLY what Mayweather was trying to do to Judah.

If you go to 3:01 to 3:03 of that first video, youll see that Zab actually feels that left foot there and steps AROUND it. any foot to foot contact there was negligible.

regardless, its very simple to figure out this. if Zab had not hit Mayweather, he would not have stumbled and had to touch the canvas. thus, THE PUNCH CAUSED THE KNOCKDOWN.
If Mayweather had landed a right hand in that situation and Zab fell over because he tripped on Mayweather's well placed left foot, then it also would have been a knockdown.

I believe that if you are off balance for your own footing then it is a knockdown. He didn't slip.

Prince naz had most of his knock downs bein off balanced, but a glove counts.

That being said, zab has one of the best and fastest left hands out there. Floyd has a solid chin 100% I don't know if he can take a shot late if he has taken 30-40 a round like some, but he's too good to get hit that many times
