Put finance discussions in the lounge.

What do you think of Pacquiao's lawyer now saying that Pac doesn't want to fight Floyd in march?

Assume that is true, then thats just as dire a situation as asking Oscar for a short term loan. Mayweather didnt have the liquid assets to fulfill the IRS bill. Another poster claimed Mayweather paid the IRS before the JMM fight with cash he had - which is false. There are articles (including from USA Today) that say Oscar paid the IRS bill before the JMM fight. A reporter also asked Floyd this after the JMM fight and Floyd got angry and told the reporter to mind his business.

It was posted here on boxingscene that a Nevada sate commish made it public that Mayweather had paid his irs debt prior to the fight so he was entitled to his full purse. Can we get back to talking about real boxing issues now?

By an ODLH personal loan. The real boxing issue is that Pacman always had the upperhand with this fight, and Mayweather wanting the fight so bad might make Pac play the power game for a while. I think Pac will not agree to fight before the elections.

Funny how you can't find even ONE article that supports this on the Internet. You got caught in a lie and now you have to rub your nose in BS.

I dont see Oscar as one to help Floyd out. I think Oscar would let Floyd pay it or let it come out of the purse. AlsoI think ifit were true u Floyd haters would be posting links every five seconds. Dude has done OK for himself. Accept it and just move on.

You're not looking because it doesn't exist. That's pretty obvious.

Not my problem. I don't care if you think it didn't happen. Fact is a journalist asked him about De La Hoya paying out his debt, and he more or less said "no comment" and De La Hoya looked angry and uncomfortable.

Regardless of how much money Pac has, with the things he wants to do (help his country, get involved in politics etc) he can always use more.

One more fight before the election for $25m minimum (probably more) makes sense. He could build homes for hundreds of people with that one purse.

Or pay the hitmen to **** up his election rivals.
