Will Pac-Floyd look like the last 4-5 rds of Pac-Cotto?

He clearly is. I loved Floyd's fights with Clottey, Mosley, and the Margaritos. They showed just how much skill he has vs the elite.

Manny's only REAL chance of winning against Floyd will come in the first 4 or 5 rounds......if Manny didn't floor Floyd or outworked him enough to be 3 or 4 rounds ahead......then its a wrap!!.....Floyd needs a few rounds to figure out the combination to the safe he's tryin' to crack.....because thats how counter punches roll......but once Floyd figures out Manny....its over!!!.....Floyd is gonna back Manny up down the stretch and look to win big!!.......but like I said, if Manny gets to Floyd early and is able to dictate the first 4 rounds by battering Floyd and possibly scoring a knock down or 2 it's Manny's fight.......make Floyd play checkers because he's a master at chess!!

The thing with Floyd's speed at this point in his career though is it's almost solely based on countering. I haven't seen Floyd load up combinations in years (literally). JMM was successful at countering Manny because at that point Manny was lunging in a lot more than I've seen him do since his fight with JMM. He sits on his punches a lot more, is much more patient and has two hands to work with now and gets out harm's way much better. It's going to be a completely different fighter than what JMM faced in '08, I think the Cotto fight more than proved that.

I disagree. He's not lunging because he's fighting all guys who tried to come at him so he doesnt have to lunge. I think he's great and gets better every fight but he's still the basis of the guy who fought JMM, I think. I also think Floyd will let his hands go in this fight because of Pac's aggressive style will leave way more openings. Plus, I think he knows that if he lets his hands go and wins then it will like erase the Oscar and other fights in people's minds who are in the mainstream and just now seeing him these last few fights. I think he will try to put on a show

Mayweather's speed and counter abilities are FAR superior than Cotto's..

that's a pretty dumb comparision..because Cotto back peddling and trying to counter isn't his strongest points..Mayweather's style is defensive, speed, precision/accuracy, and counterpunching..no way him and Cotto are on the same level on those attributes..Cotto excels in Power, Timing, and Pressure..and fell waay short..

Mayweather can very well fall short as well..but in no way will it be comparable to Cotto's backward attack in the Pacquiao fight..that's where he shines..
