You can always count on the UK's top promoter, Frank Warren, for some great verbal jabs. This week he blasted his ex-fighter Ricky Hatton for planning a possible return in the 2010 against Juan Manuel Marquez. This time Warren may be right with some of his statements. Warren says Hatton is delusional with some of his recent comments and career choices. He doesn't think the Manchester star is even close to being in proper form and doesn't think Hatton has the fire in his belly to fight with the A-level stars. [details]

He's probably right about Hatton not being on form, but Warren hates every fighter who leaves him or is with another promoter. (or won't sleep with him)
Calling Hatton's recent career choices wrong is a joke, he's fought the 2 best fighters on the planet within 2 years. It doesn't get any bigger than that.
Warrens comment about the 3 minute kip against Pac is funny though!Last edited by NorvernRob; 11-22-2009, 02:31 PM.

Hatton should fight Maccarinelli in a cruiserweight bum-off. Hatton KO4 Maccarinelli.
Seriously, I really like Hatton. He chose tough fights and he was a great champion at his best but I don't want to see him get seriously hurt again.

Exactly. I think he'd be OK up against Floyd again because he'd either hang around to lose an easy UD or the referee would stop him this time, but I don't want to see him face anyone with any kind of power. What do you think of Marquez's power? Is he a danger to Hatton's health?
