When they constantly bleat on about the Alphabet titles being "worthless trinkets"

This is not a bash about Pacquiao, who is deserving of the 7 weight champion title, but rather the hipocracy of "The Bible Of Boxing"

The alphabet titles are either worthless, or worth something, The Ring.

    Please decide which.

I think there is some hypocrisy there. I don't put much stock into titles anymore because there are so many as well as so many weight classes. But Manny has beaten to 5 fighters in 7 different divisions, and that is still impressive.

Not to mention he's the only man to win titles in 4/8 of the original weight classes

To me that just makes him a fighter who has been able to beat top contenders in those weight classes. Impressive still, but he is not the first to do it in 4 of the original 8.

In many cases, the prestige of the Alphabet titles is reflected by the man who holds that title.

No doubt Shane Mosleys WBA Welterweight title carries weight than Amir Khan's WBA Light Welterweight title. (no pun intended)
