  • Miguel Cotto-Manny Pacquiao: 24/7 Pt. 4 Reviewed

By Cliff Rold - Saturday on 24/7, Freddie Roach watched TV, some trainer smack went down, there was more senseless attention on kvetching inside Team Manny Pacquiao, and Bob Arum said the underdog he promotes, in a fight where promotes both guys, looks better than ever…’cause a promoter has ever said, “One of these dudes looks awful but buy my pay per view anyways.” [details]

This was the best episoide out of them all and real talk I know i talked alot of **** about Pacquiao leading up to the fight but in all honesty he is a great fighter and and this is a great fight i can see both guys winning and i really don't know whats going to happen but im a Floyd Fan so it really doesn't matter who wins because Floyd beats them both but it still should be a good fight so im just going to sit back and let the Pacfans and the Cotto fans worry about who is going to win and im going to enjoy a good night of boxing

but if i had to pick i would say Cotto by KO (body punch) Round 5

In my opinion, it was the best out of the four. The montage at the end was great, too.

This is by far the worst article that I have seen from Cliff Rold, whose usual very high standard is con****ious here, by it's absence. I could almost warrant a guess that he wrote it having been without sleep for 72 hours........ and it wasn't even edited. or proof read.

If it was, those guys should go back to school.

I notice tnat Manny P seems blockier, and more sturdily framed than Cotto, but, seeing what it's all about, it probably is an optical illusion, by having Manny P pose squarely in front of the camera, with Cotto in a diagonal 3/4 pose on Manny's left.

Like having Manny pose in his shoes, whilst Cotto is standing beside him, a little further back from the camera with bare feet.

A camera lens is a "great equalizer".........

It was the best episode of this run but was still pretty lame. Wasn't bad by any means, just wasn't particularly interesting or enthralling.

I don't think this 24/7 series was the best, but it was certainly far from the worst. The whole "I'm so jaded, nothing excites me anymore" tone of the author is getting tiresome. It's not like the piece offered any new perspective anyway. I saw the show, do i really need a recap? At least Liev is mildly entertaining with his narration. Can't say the same about Crold's writing though.

I think the only good person or episode of 24.7 is Mayweather

like Floyd or not he has alot of personality and he entertains.
