Cotto at 3-1 KO(7-1 Decision), best underdog bet of recent memory?

I like Pacquiao, he's beaten all my favorite fighters, but these odds are incredibly skewed. It may be the media attention and his fights with Hatton/DLH but this is madness.

I felt like the John/Juarez 2 was skewed as well, and while John vindicated the books, I still like the bet to this day. I think this is an outrage and I personally think Cotto's chances of winning are excellent.

I found a 7-1 line on this fight going to a decision in favor of Cotto. So they're calling a decision in this fight a near impossibility?? Almost a guaranteed knockout victory for either fighter.

Doesn't this strike anyone else as a little crazy?

7-1 that Cotto can't handle the smaller mans punches and control him with his jab. 7-1 that Pacquiao's chin isn't sturdy enough and that he'll win 7 of 12 rounds against an elite WW?

It is damn outrageous! I've still got a thousand left hoping odds will level on fight night which i think ain't gonna happen.

3-1 is nothing..Pacquiao was 6-1 vs DLH with a KO..i cashed in close to 7 hundred betting a lil over a hundred.

this time..im putting it on COtto by KO..

Yea i would put a solid bet on Cotto to straight up win.

Pacquiaos Chin will be a big question mark IMO. He hasnt been hit flush in the face by anybody since Marquez at 130, and Marquez was able to rock him in that 2nd round.

So who knows if he will be able to take Cottos punches or not. We will see. 7-1 on decision may not be the best bet IMO. i do think think this fight ends in a late stoppage for either fighter.

Over 9.5 rounds isnt a bad bet tho.

Id put 75% of ur bet money on Cotto to win at +230, and 25% on Over 9.5 rounds at +115

I agree but I have a friend who is a casual fan (he bets on horses, car races, NBA, everything. I bet him $200 Cotto would win and he gave me 3-1 odds(he goes by the book) I'm picking up my money Sunday morning and going Xmas Shopping...WHew!
