Do any of you morons even listen to yourselves?

How can Floyd have avoided top competition his whole career, if he was ranked p4p no.1 and held titles in 5 different weight classes?

Completely ridiculous. Half of you haven't even thought that for yourselves, just disliked Floyd's attitude and then heard some criticisms of him on here, and then just repeated them like a mantra.

Fact is, you dont get ranked as p4p no.1 without fighting good quality fighters. Does it occur to any of you that Floyd won his first title as age 21 in his eighteenth fight? The body of work he put in at 130 and 135 before he started getting tons of publicity?

If he got the level he is at now fighting C and B class fighters....Well fuck I'm sure there's thousands of fighters out there wanting to know his secret.

            THey're questioning Floyd's work above 135.

He did good work early but making up excuses why he shouldn't fight the no.1 fighter in his weightclass sounds like avoidance to me.....also don't cite the fictional p4p rankings as evidence anymore its just fantasy and has no bearing on anything.

Not his whole career, of course not.

However, at welter, he hasn't fought the vast majority the tough customers - or even kinda-tough - of his time, regardless of the reasons. Namely:

                Miguel Cotto
                Antonio Margarito
                Shane Mosley
                Kermit Cintrón
                Paul Williams
                Carlos Quintana
                Andre Berto
                Joshua Clottey

The only good welter he fought was Judah.

Note the underlined regardless of the reasons. If he wants to be remembered as one of the best, he either needs to make the fights happen (no "if or buts") or move back to 140 and face the best there.

He hasn't fought top competition at 147 since 2006 (and those were Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir).
