Haye-Valuev: David's Quest To Emulate Lennox Lewis

David Haye's goal is to become the greatest British heavyweight since Lennox Lewis. he views this coming Saturday's challenge of WBA champion Nikolai Valuev as the first step to emulating the path of Lewis. He views Lewis as the best heavyweight in the history of British boxing. He knows the road to be mentioned in the same breath as Lewis will be a long and hard journey. [details]

Just as I though all along. Haye only took the fight cause he thinks he had a better shot to beat valuev than the klitschko's. Haye dosent want the best he wants a payday with the klitschko's. He knows he cannot match them in any area including talent. LOL cancelled 3 fights with wlad and vitali, what a chump. He will get owned by an slow and lethargic valuev trust me. Valuev ko in rounds 8 to 10

:gay:He will have to do all those things to be great but he won't, its very funny he even says that. hahhaa His ***** ass will be lucky if he gets past the Russian. If she loses to Valuev, then she needs to retire or go back to the cruiserwieghts.

On Alis best night Lennox gets KOed in the 4th on his worst night Lennox gets KOed in the 9th.
Lewis doesnt belong in the same sentence as Ali

I really wonder about this guy Haye...He had the fight w/ Klitchko... he HAD the lottery ticket, and threw it in the trash. And why??? Because he'd get wrapped up fighting either one of them for the next year? SO WHAT! There isn't another guy in the division that makes him as much money, or propels him faster into the sports mainstream. I think he took a look at these guys face to face and ultimately knew he had bitten off too much too soon. If he really thought he could win, he'd be fighting a Ukranian and not a Russian next week, and making an appointment with his banker to discuss some serious future deposits.

Haye has nothing close to a decent heavyweights talent. He is a good cruiserweight and thats all. Even if he beat all heavyweights today he still wouldnt come close to a Lewis or Ali. This is his chance though since all heavyweights are nothing close to the ones in lewis era.

Wladimir looked even better in his last fight against Chagaev.
