    Demarco Stops Alfaro in Ten, Edwin Valero Next Up

    At the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Antonio DeMarco (23-1, 17KOs) stopped Jose Alfaro (23-5, 20KOs) in the tenth round to win the interim-WBC lightweight title. DeMarco is now the mandatory challenger to full champion Edwin valero (25-0, 25KOs). [details]

          Valero is on borrowed time with that gift belt that was given to him by Uncle Bob. De Marco got hit a lot less in this fight than the last one he was in. He's as ready for Valero as he's gonna be. Might as well take the opportunity now. And if you fail, that's life.

              Valero is very limited, but that power and relentlessness can carry him a ways. Demarco looked pretty damn good in this fight.

                DeMarco seems to have a good future ahead of him.

                I'd like to see him in there with some other good young fighters like Vazquez or Peterson.

                    What hype? What is the hype about Valero? Nobody is saying he is great. Nobody puts him in the P4P list. But he does have an eraser. And, that power is legit... If you talking about his power being hype then you are wrong cuz his power is for real. And, he also has a couple good wins in his resume. So I don't know what hype you talking about
