Someone isn't too familiar with Bernard's career...he did fight Allen 3 times but all other 17 guys were different...and Bernard has no control over how good or bad the division is...same as the Klitschko's...

Trinidad was established at 154 and won a a title at 160...if it wasn't for Bernard, Trinidad wudda been the undisputed king at 160...

He was supposed to lose to Tarver, Pavlik, and Trinidad...and won all of them in decisive fashion...

How so? It aint like Dawson is fighting three or four times a year and he struggled to beat Tarver in both fights more than what people realize. He made the rounds that he won close by posing and not doing anything for periods of it, and the three rounds that Tarver won in both fights were clearly won by him. He just didn't have the legs and energy to keep up with Dawson in the other rounds. The only thing that Hopkins has done is not fight Dawson. Other than that, the #1 ranking rightfully belongs to him. He should fight Dawson though. I'm not dis*****g that.

What are you talking about Dawson dominated Tarver the first time and it was more competitive the 2nd but Chad clearly won.....Hopkins has not done anything of note at LHW other than beat Tarver.....wins over MWs and a loss to a SMW doesn't make you the best LHW in the world.

Oh well I was wrong then. Still, you give Hopkins 3 million to fight Danny Green, who sucks btw, and he'd take it in a heartbeat. Yes Green is better then Ornelas, but Hopkins is having a tune up for the first time since 04. I think he can take one.

Oh, no doubt he would have done the fight for 4 million*. He would beat him too. No doubt about it. But I just don't want anyone thinking Danny Green is a soft touch at all. He has good fundamantals and punches like a mule. I watched the guy live in Biloxi in Aug and he was very impressive. While Green can be outboxed, his power and experiance make him a very dangerous opponent for an aging Jones. He's big and very strong. A lot of people forget he was a LHW champ before giving it up and doing a short retirement.
