Sources have indicated to BoxingScene.com that the IBF has notified the camps of Kendall Holt (#5) and Nate Campbell (#6) that they are the top 2 available contenders and shall meet in an eliminator to determine the IBF #1 contender position at jr. welterweight. It appears that the upcoming Juan Diaz (#3)-Paulie Malignaggi (#4) rematch on December 12 had been considered for that #1 eliminator, however one side of that fight refused. I would assume it was Diaz since he doesn't plan to campaign as a full junior welterweight. [details]

I really hope that fight comes off, Holt should be able to win because its not like Nate is hard to hit and will be using his legs to avoid those power shots. Nate could outwork him though if Holt's punch output is too low....the guy's ko to win rate would be close to 100% if he just let his hands go I think.Last edited by Spray_resistant; 10-27-2009, 07:14 PM. -

Campbell has looked old in his last 2 fights.
The streak will continue with Holt.
Holt will stay on his toes making Nate chase him and then run him in to counters. Bradley needed to combine a good punch output, speed, and carefulness to beat KH something NC won't be able to do. Kendall will stop him late.Comment
