Hahah! That's pathetic! More gifts to cheaty belly, so after defending all his titles against a boxing (!) nobody, he can rest for months again and continue stalling the division, while really promising fighters will be waiting more for no valid reason.

Dude earned the rights to call the shots like Money May, don't you think? When you're at the top, you can pick and choose whoever you want. After all, he did put in the hard yards and the fights weren't easy with the Englishmen, not once, but twice on six occasions total.

Choose whoever you like, if you can, but vacate the titles and don’t pretend you’re making a defence worthy of being labelled a great champion with such a matchup. Don’t you think? As someone mentioned in another thread, at least Wlad fought valid contenders twice a year.

Do I think this is a ****** fight? Yup. It's a fantasy fight that's going to be made into reality in the upcoming weeks. Man is near the end of his career at the current age of 38 or 39? He has stated in an interview he has 3 fights left. Let him do a quick-easy cash grab and then fight a mandatory next that's rumored to be Agit Kabayel, shall he be victorious on the night.

Hey man, Uncle Turki, the main boxing organizations have all agreed for it to be a sanctioned Championship fight. Win all for all parties?

Verhoeven has no place in Boxing and is likely going to get carried by Usyk unless he ends it quick.

Usyk could have done it as Fury did - a non-title fight and still get the money.

****, you're right. That's with the Ngaanou fight. I wouldn't have a clue to why Usyk would put his belts on the line. Maybe because a championship fight could sell with Rico's fanbase and the kickboxing scene? Could be a marketing thingy or he also wants the organizations to get paid, as well?

Kickboxing fans and overall fighting fans would be interested in this fight even if it wasn't a title fight, but just an official boxing match. It would have set a different intention and picture of Usyk, which would have been fine, if it doesn't delay a defence against a boxing top. And would have been respected a lot more (including myself, not that I am a factor, but just as I am against this being a title defence, I am fine with a champion making some more money, if he respects the sports, the rules and what the fans want).

It'd be hysterical if this guy went in there and instantly won with a KO headkick upside Usyks noggin.

Best outcome I think would be for Usyk to dominate. So he gets massive pressure for no more gimmes.
