You're right, I wouldnt understand that. Maybe if Barrera stood there and let nassem punch him, he would have knocked him out, lol. Barrera was a better boxer and fighter than hamed.👍 1Comment

"Prince Naseem Hamed still retired as a World Champion, after wining against Manuel Calvo 'Marco Antonio Barrera did not retire as a World Champion, and he did suffered extremely bas loses to Amir Khan'."Prince Naseem Hamed was clearly not in the best condition, but? That was his own fault, and Marco Antonio Barrera definitively deserved the win'.
But I think over the years? This lost on Prince Naseem Hamed's record has been over exaggerated 'even now with the title of this article it is being over exaggerated'.
Prince Naseem Hamed was not clowned; he was just beaten by a better prepared fighter in Barrera 'that is it'.
Note: In my opinion Prince Naseem Hamed was still a better fighter than Marco Antonio Barrera 'seriously? If this was the worst and only lost on Hamed's resume, then people all need to be honest. It was not a bad loss'.
Prince Naseem Hamed went 12 rounds against Marco Antonio Barrera 'he was neither beaten up or ever on the verge of being stopped'.
But for some reason, certain folk within the boxing community over exaggerated the win 'maybe they had all be waiting for this moment, and witnessed Prince Naseem Hamed smash up many other top level fighters in his career'.
To conclude: Overall, I think historically the win for Marco Antonio Barrera is overrated 'similar to how Tyson Fury's win his overrated vs. Wladimir Kiltschko'.
Prince Naseem Hamed still retired as a World Champion, after wining against Manuel Calvo 'Marco Antonio Barrera did not retire as a World Champion, and he did suffered extremely bas loses to Amir Khan'.
Yes Barrera was miles outside of his peak, I am just contrasting each fighters careers Marco Antonio Barrera was a great fighter 'But Prince Naseem Hamed was the better fighter, more talented, and overall in my opinion his career has made a bigger impact on the sport of boxing' etc.
Hamed retiring as champion and not Barrera is meaningless IMO. Hamed had ONE more fight after his loss to Barrera, Barrera had 18, 18 more fights after his fight with Hamed. many of those fights were against HOF fighters. Hamed was a great fighter and better showman, but he wasnt better than Barrera IMO👍 1Comment

I have always said the MAB-Hamed fight, the Chino-AB fight and the Hopkins-Tito fight were the 3 most satisfying outcomes in my lifetime of watching boxing. Great minds….!

Tyson Fury's win over Wladimir Kiltschko skill for skill was overrated, let's all be honest? How many times have you all watched Fury vs. Kiltschko back, in full? Most likely zero times.
In terms of historical significance it was a great win, but the action was completely overrated. It was an underwhelming performance from both fighters; Wladimir Kiltschko was neither beaten up or ever in the verge of being knocked out. Tyson Fury merely riddled and fiddled his way through rounds, which was enough to get him the win on that night.
Note: It was a great injustice that Wladimir Kitschko a champion for close to 10 years, was denied the opportunity to avenge that loss vs. Tyson Fury 'but unfortunately the rematch never happened due to Tyson Fury's then circumstance'.
But on the topic of Prince Naseem Hamed's loss to Antonio Barrera 'I think the loss is for sure, being overrated and exaggerated. It is a fact that Prince Naseem Hamed's career and performances have made a bigger impact on the sport of boxing, than Antonio Barrera's boxing exploits'.
What defined Antonio Barrera are his battles vs. Eric Morales and Manny Pacquiao 'He won the trilogy of fights vs. Morales, and then he was beaten by Pacquiao'.
To conclude: Antonio Barrera is a great fighter, but? Prince Naseem Hamed 25 years after this loss, is getting movies and documentaries made about him 'and it is not like Prince Naseem Hamed is pushing for all of those things to happen. But the shockwaves produced by the impact of his career, still have a effect on the boxing community'.
Overall this thread is not a blockbuster, and neither was the fight between Antonio Barrera and Prince Naseem Hamed 'already by the time Hamed had fought Barrera, all of his most important fights and feats in his career had all been achieved'.
The people around Prince Naseem Hamed, and who were involved in his rise within the game 'knew that the likely-hood of him being beaten had increased dramatically due to his decreased and work ethic'.
The win vs. Prince Naseem Hamed is Antonio Barrera's break out fight in my opinion 'but in terms of the action produced during the fight, and the ramifications from this loss on Prince Naseem Hamed's resume and standing within boxing history is completely overrated' etc.
