Comments Thread For: Tim Tszyu faces the moment, and Denis Nurja, looking straight ahead
Tim Tszyu finally stood toe-to-toe with Denis Nurja at Tuesday?s media workout, and what seemed to stand out to him most was that, for once, his opponent didn?t stand out.

Can't deny, Tim's stock went up based on Fundora's recent performance. Granted, some of that could be Thurman went in with a terrible strategy or was at this point over the hill with the long layoffs and inactivity. Though Tim was able to land plenty on Fundora, something Thurman didn't know how to do.
I think if we can get Tim vs Errol, it would be a fun fight.

How do you think this fight will allow us to see as far as Tim ?
I blame The Tower on Tim and his team. They were looking for somebody safe for his next road trip. Thurman was hand picked and polished, but he gets busted up in training so they look around, and who do they see laying there? Goofy. The thing is Fundora didnt know what he had. Mendozer made him leery and Tim gave him a sanguine target. He metamorphed right there. No more face fighting grunt, now the Tower is going vertical. Attack from above and regain altitude.

I don't think this particular fight means much. Just another confidence builder type fight for Tim and he's working out the bugs with his new trainer. I would expect Tim to win and then line himself up for the potential Errol fight.
This fight is going be on at 11 am Australian time and 9 PM in the U.S. They're really putting American fans interest above the Aussies on this one. I'm not complaining or anything because it's a good time for me.
Tim is only 31 but he's probably age 36 in boxing years. My man was getting hit way too much in that Murtazaliev fight. I lost count how many time Bakhram knocked him down and he did immense damage to him. That ref did a horrible job and should have stopped it after the third knock down. You really can't let the fight continue after that because it's only going go downhill from there.
