Title orgs have been getting pretty emotional lately. IBF felt disrespected, WBO & WBA like "I'm not going if WBC's gonna be there.." WBC says, "I'm still going" and WBA goes, "well, we could really use the money. Gonna have to start looking for a new job soon now that the jig is up."

Champions don't pay for their belts at Zuffa. It's actually the other way around. Crazy, huh?

Lol Dana got so emotional in his back and forth with Oscar, Eddy & Bob over the years that he decided to leave the playground and go play in gravel pit down the road aka zuffa boxing.

As corrupt as the sanctioning bodies are, they're still more trustworthy than Zuffa and their business model. When TUF séries came out, MMA was supposed to be the end of boxing. Now they need boxing to be able to continue paying MMA folks pugilistic minimum wage. Jones bailed again over $, Rousey, Cerano and McGregor are making comebacks cause there's no one marketable that can justify a PPV. Now, even the great Lioness offered to comeback to help save the org. What's next, Ngannou return since he's out of his PFL contract/obligations.

They tried to box him out only to paint themselves in a Deadzone corner.

There is nothing more corrupt than the sanctioning bodies, Vegas & UK judges, in-house referees, biased commentary and unofficial scoring, etc. Boxing killed itself.

MMA is boring because no one wants to watch two people grappling for 25 minutes. Plus, their fighters are ugly.

Zuffa is the happy marriage of organization and funding. Let the baby grow.

They would be silly not to sanction it, it was silly to even care about the WBC getting involved for no reason and it would create a bunch of problems if they didn't sanction the fight then Fat Dave won.

For sure they don't pay they gettin a title for "free" and Zuffa/TKO walks away with 90 percent of their purse in return. Wait until Zuffa brings on the UFC model all fighters will beg for the old system and will dream about paying tiny percentages in sanctioning fees.
