- Location: Based in Gap, France, with the ceremonial start and various stages in Monaco and the surrounding French Alps.
- Surface: A challenging mix of tarmac, ice, and snow.
- Route: Features 17 special stages covering 339.15 km (approx. 211 miles).
- Monaco Super Special Stage: For the first time since 2008, the rally includes a competitive "Super Special Stage" (SS13) on Saturday evening, January 24, held on the streets of the Monaco harbor, utilizing parts of the Formula 1 circuit.
- Legendary Finish: The rally concludes on Sunday, January 25, with the iconic Col de Turini serving as the Wolf Power Stage.
- Historical Milestone: Lancia officially returns to the WRC in 2026, competing in the WRC2 category with the new Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale.
- Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Gazoo Racing): The defending champion (10-time winner as of 2025) will carry the #1 on his door.
- Hayden Paddon (Hyundai): Makes a return to the WRC's top category for the first time since 2018.
- Jon Armstrong (M-Sport Ford): Makes his top-level Rally1 debut.
- WRC2 Contenders: Features the return of Lancia with drivers Yohan Rossel and Nikolay Gryazin.
