Pac was pretty shot by the the time of that proposed Spence fight. There wasnt that big demand it was expected Pac to lose

Joshua - Fury should be on this list it was going to be after the 2nd Fury-Wilder fight and then there were legal problems and lawsuit threats over rematch clauses with Fury-Wilder III taking place. Back then both were in their primes and both had a win over Wladimir.

That fight was more wanted than the klitscho rematch that is on the list, fury dominated and won nearly all rounds. Why would the rematch be any different? wlad was old and less mobile.

I've always felt like we could be talking about Golovkin–Pirog as a FOTY contender if it had happened. I think it would've gone either the distance or Golovkin stopping Pirog very late, with both sustaining career-shortening damage.

Another doozy for the list: Kelly Pavlik vs Paul Williams was all set for late 2009, and could've easily been FOTY, but we instead got another FOTY-worthy bout in Williams–Martinez. Good times.
