Cotto Uses Underdog Status For Motivation To Beat Manny

Even with weight aside, Cotto is one tough hombre. He has boxing skill, underrated speed, knows how to control speed, tough chin, incredible heart, and power. How on earth is he the underdog again? Because he didn't look so good against someone in his weight class in his last fight that would have given any fighter a tough fight, and he had to fight most of it with a really nasty cut early on? Because Margarito knocked him out with suspect gloves after 11 brutal rounds? People that simply pick Pacquiao based on last fight performance and not common sense are the kind of people that would buy a shamwow.

I see this fight like DeLaHoya/Hopkins, Pac outspeeding and then Cotto imposing his natural size on him. Pac is being rated on his peformances against DLH and Hatton, in between there was a match against Marquez that can't be forgotten. I give it to Pac by taking such a risky fight not like other fighters that take the path of least resistance and call themselves the best.

Usually Speed and Skill beats Size and Power
When two elite fighter meet the difference in victory is usually speed and skill not size and power. The thing is Cotto has some speed and skill too.

Plus the fact that Pac is moving-up in weight. And it's quite ironic if you call yourself the best but you are not fighting the best just b-coz your L is 0, isn't it?

No question about it that Cotto will KO Pacquiao between 6-8 rounds. Cotto has showed many times that he can handle boxer with speed and strength
. Seen to be that people do not believe
in Cotto in many of his boxing match, but he will prove the world that he is one of the best fighter in the world
