What of the judging criterias exactly was in favor of Pitbull was it the cleanlanded punches or his effective aggression or his amazing ring general ship or maybe is exceptional defense?

Pitbull did not have one of these judging criterias in his favor for the whole fight. The only round Pitbull clearly won was the one with the knockdown. The first half was kind of competitive but even in the first 6 rounds Roach landed cleaner was more effective with his offense controlled the action and had way better defense. The second half was just one way traffic Pitbull noticed he couldnt bully Roach on the inside and got frustrated. So what did he do he tried to box Roach a couple of rounds and all of these rounds he lost since he can't box at all.

Pitbull only dominated at clinching, low blows, leading with his head and shoulder bumbs while clinching. This was not hard to score and every statistic backs that up. Roach landed more punches in 9 out of 12 rounds. Roach also landed more Power Punches and he completely controlled the action. He was also more effective percentage wise in 11 out of 12 rounds.

Roach was at least 2 levels above Pitbull in every department he fought Pitbulls fight and turned Pitbull into a wannabe boxer but again Pitbull can't box.

Roach can't get a fair shake. Twice he beat boxers with a name more prominent than his and both times he came up with draws. Must be supremely disheartening.

Cruz had a good early part of the fight but rd 1 was pretty close, Cruz lost a point in a rd he lost negating the KD in rd 3, Roach did really well the entire 2nd half of the fight should have gotten the W here.

I think Roach won cleanly. However, he fought Cruz's fight for the first half of the fight when he didn't have to. He was in Texas fighting a popular Mexican fighter. Roach fought a dumb fight considering he should have known the cards were stacked against him. When they showed Larry Hazzard's scorecard after 10 rounds showing the fight was even, I didn't expect a fair result. Even at the end of the fight awaiting the results, the highlights they were showing all seemed to be Cruz highlights.

Lamont was given an injustice should have been a win. I think the judges were more swayed by the Pro-Cruz crowd ...But Roach will be back stronger and better. He was in shape and showed he had dogg in him

But was it really that dumb? I know we all think the blue print is to outbox Cruz since he is so limited but considering that Roach was even in the first half more effective i would not jump to the conclusion it was such a dumb idea.

He felt comfortable enough to fight on the inside and honestly he broke Pitbulls spirit which had a huge impact on the second half. Pitbull was clinching and going on the backfoot literally surrendering and giving away these rounds for free.

For me it should be enough to win when you show you are multiple levels above the other guy and he exactly showed that he outlanded him in almost every round and he fought every rounds on his terms. Why do you need to win all 12 rounds clean cut to win against the A side. Roach did a better job against Cruz than Tank did. Only Rayo outclassed Pitbull even more but even that was a Split decision, so who says that they would have given him the nodge if he simply outboxed Pitbull on the backfoot?
