was thinking the same - sounds like a radioactive element - but the name rings a bell from 10 years ago - one of the russian fighters tested positive for it - maybe Povetkin
Alimkhanuly stated via social media. “I was surprised when I read the news. VADA took the first test and said everything was clean. I have not made any changes to my vitamins.
“I don’t know what happened with the second test, so I requested a retest.”
As is the standard with all adverse findings in drug tests, the offending party has the right to request the testing of his “B” sample.

About as clear as mud - poor reporting. Per Alimk. - 1st test was clean - so he was told by VADA. Did they then state "oops we made a mistake - it wasn't clean" . If they did that would explain why a 2nd test has already been done. On the other hand - if the 1st test was clean, why was a 2nd test done. Wasall this done on his 'A' sample?
Has the 'B' sample been done.
How about reaching out to AlimK's manager and/or VADA?

does seem to have an eastern euro thing to it
google says
'Meldonium is produced in Latvia and is available over the counter. A brand name is Mildronate. It is predominantly used in Latvia, Russia and Eastern Europe'
